Our classes cater for everyone from someone who has never stepped into a boxing club or gym to a highly competent boxer from 10 years old.

Fitness
Fitness classes are the main stay of the majority of boxing clubs. Boxing fitness is renowned the world over as one of the greatest ways to get fit and then maintain your new found level of fitness. Working in a friendly purpose-built boxing gym you will meet new friends, build confidence and ultimately train like a boxer.

England Boxing have introduced a new fitness concept called BOX: the zenith of all boxing fitness programs.

Technique and Development
If you have ever dreamed of becoming a world champion boxer, gaining new skills while learning a new hobby or just want something to complement your fitness class. This class will take you through all the footwork drills, punch combinations and single shots plus all their counter defensives.

Competition
This is the class that can take you as a 10 year old in your first “Skills Bout” or to National Championship level. Working at a pace to suit your needs, the coaches will support and guide you to your first sparring session. York Boxing Club’s Development Program produces Champions year in year out, it’s as simple as that.
